Like many artists, I had a dream that one day I would have a studio of my own—a place where I could create, experiment, and communicate my artistic language freely. I always believed that the right space would come at the right time, and when I found this space, I realized that the dream had finally arrived.

In many ways, though, the reality is even better than the dream I had imagined. I didn't just find a studio where I could make my work; I found a space with a gallery where that work could be shared, experienced, and connected with an audience. It became more than a place to create. It became a place to invite people in and give them a glimpse into the ideas, processes, and conversations behind the work.

But I didn't want the gallery to be only about my art. I wanted it to become a space where different artistic voices could exist together—a place where people could discover work that felt unexpected, personal, and authentic. That is when I found  Barbara Noris, an amazing ceramicist whose work immediately felt connected to my own artistic language. Her pieces are organic, distinctive, and deeply tactile. There is something wonderfully raw about them, yet they are also incredibly beautiful. Each piece feels as though it has its own personality and presence. Her work brings another dimension to the space and creates a dialogue with my own.

Then I found Erich Meager.

Erich's work is completely different, but equally extraordinary. Where Barbara"s ceramic work embraces the organic and unexpected, Erich's work is defined by precision, control, and an almost impossible level of perfection. His craftsmanship is mesmerizing. People stop, look closely, and wonder how he is able to create something so precise and refined. There is a sense of mystery in his process—a feeling that you are witnessing something that shouldn't be possible.

Bringing these different artists together has been one of the most rewarding parts of creating this space. We don't make the same kind of work, and that is exactly what makes the community so interesting. Our work speaks different artistic languages, but somehow those languages complement one another. There is a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, individuality, experimentation, and the desire to make something meaningful.

Together, we have created more than a collection of artists. We have created a community.

Located in the Perez Art District in Cathedral City, CA. We have Art walks the fourth Friday of every month from 4-7p and every 2nd Saturday from 11-3p, September through May. The Perez Art District located near downtown Cathedral City and just minutes from Palm Springs has over 40 artist galleries and studios. You can stroll through our district and enjoy both emerging and established artists in their own work spaces.

We are open Thursday to Saturday from 11 to 3p or by appointment.
